Welcome to the Lotus Mana Center
The center is a welcoming space and open to all students, regardless of identity, who are interested in exploring and understanding the Asian and Pacific Islander diasporic experiences and engaging in productive dialogue and community with others. The center serves as a valuable resource for any student who seeks to develop their cultural competency and contribute to a campus environment that values diversity, connection and a shared commitment to the success of all students.

Championing the addition of ‘and’ is a visible marker of connectivity and affirmation, which positions the retention initiative and the center as a bridge to the broader UC Davis community for our Asian and Pacific Islander students. AandPI more accurately describes the diversity of our community and affirms our commitment to living the Principles of Community.
