The Teuila (teh-wee-luh) flower doubles as the national flower of Samoa, as well as being a significant symbol in Samoan culture, representing resilience, power, and strength, and embodying the spirit of Samoan culture. Each year, the Teuila Festival is held in Samoa to celebrate its symbolic meaning and honoring the resilience, power, and strength that characterizes Samoan culture.
This event celebrates the qualities of the Teuila flower in the context of our identities as students. We want to empower you to take charge of your education in your own way, and to embrace the lessons you've learned through your cultural background and life experiences as you navigate your academic journey. We also want to create a space to celebrate the start of a new school year, and the resilience and strength that each one of you have demonstrated to get to where you are today.
