Bio
Aneka Torgrimson is a fourth-year student at UC Davis majoring in Asian American Studies with double minors in Political Science and Psychology. As a transnational adoptee from China, she is passionate about exploring identity formation and cultural understanding, particularly within adoptee communities. Aneka currently serves as a lab manager in the Psychology Department’s Pine Narrative Lab, where she continues to study community, culture, and identity with a focus on uplifting Asian American narratives. This is her third year with the Lotus Mana Center, and she is excited to continue supporting and uplifting A&PI communities on campus.

Outside of her academic work, Aneka enjoys engaging with student organizations connected to Asian American Studies and psychology. In her free time, she loves blind box openings, watching mysteries and cozy fall movies, and is an avid fan of Yoshitomo Nara’s artwork.
