Bio
Faapuloua Ioane is a 3rd year student majoring in Sociology with a minor in Education. She is biracial with roots within Oceania and identifies as Samoan and Black.

She is very involved on campus becoming one of the chiefs of her club, the Pacific Islander Student Association (PISA), and formerly starting out as a Student Intern for the Asian and Pacific Islander Academic Retention Initiative, now turned Student Assistant for the Lotus Mana Center (APIARI). After entering her first year at UC Davis feeling lost without seeing those who shared her cultural, she found a community with PISA and APIARI-- wanting to share her experiences and form connections while being an advocate and encouraging inclusion.

In her free time, Faapuloua enjoys cooking/baking, dancing and learning new choreos, listening to music, revamping, playing games, fawning over animals, reading webcomic strips, and laughing at memes. She is also very talkative so don't be afraid to approach her with any questions or just to talk!
