River is a 4th year Design student minoring in Political Science from Oakland, California. She identifies as a First-Generation and Low-Income college student, who is passionate about equity and bridging gaps with students who are the first in their family to go to college. Prior to Lotus Mana, she worked for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) building community and providing support for EOP students. 

 

River enjoys movies and television shows, along with recognizing the importance of proper representation in media and its impacts it has on society and the audience.
